Imogen, I loved the evocative detail of the surroundings and the rituals! I am always fascinated by the commonalities in various folk traditions and beliefs. Thank you for the beautiful images and poems!
It is very easy to inhabit the worlds you describe with your words. How connected we all are, to each other and the Ancestors! A lovely interesting read as always.
What a lovely read!! I’m so blessed that I stumbled upon you (via Jacqueline), your writing helps me so much to bring together my own calendar of days, to suit down here. Your words touch a place in me, that almost seems to be part of what you write about. We don’t have Moon names, I tried it once, to make my own up, but it didn’t come together
Thank you Robyn, and I’m so glad to know that the things I share are providing a sort of touchstone for your own ways of celebrating the seasons. I think it’s good to recognise that certain things aren’t easily assimilated or just don’t resonate with you and focus on the bits that fall into place smoothly!
I can't remember how I came across Bracken & Wrack, but as I live in Norfolk thought it would be interesting. I now realise you're about a mile away as the crow flies from where my parents have lived for about 60 years. I told my Mum about Hundred Stream, and she'd never known it's called that. Thank you for the lovely and interesting posts.
Goodness Rachel, how lovely to connect with you! It’s fab to have your company and to know that you’re familiar with the places I write about. Thank you for your kind words too.

Thank you Sofia! It’s lovely to know you enjoyed it. It’s a particularly rich time of year for folk traditions!
“Spear the eye, spear the clutching hand”....such beauty in your words.
Thank you Jane. I don’t consider myself a poet really but it was somehow easy to open myself up to the words in a place like that.

We really are connected Elizabeth - thank you for putting it so beautifully, and for your kind comment! I’m so glad you enjoyed it.
